A sports photography specialist

Hi, I'm Zach Maynard. After 15+ years behind the camera, I've focused on what I love most: photographing athletes. It started on the sidelines of my own kids' games, and it's grown into full team media days, game coverage, and styled athlete portraits across the North Sound. Gym and rink lighting is some of the hardest in photography, and making athletes look like the pros under it is my specialty. And when I'm on the sideline with the camera, parents get to put the phone away and actually watch the game.

Sports Media Days I bring a full professional studio to your gym, rink, or field: pro-lit athlete portraits, team photos, and coach headshots, with simple packages families pay for on site. One hour per team, organized and fun.

Game Coverage One flat booking covers your whole team for a game or match. Families buy their favorite images from a private online gallery, and parents finally get to just watch the game.

Athlete & Senior Portraits Styled individual sessions with dramatic lighting, fog, and team colors. For Class of 2027 senior athletes, it's the senior photo that actually looks like you: in your element, in your gear, at your best.

Built for sports

Indoor sports are a specialty: ice hockey, volleyball, and basketball all happen under difficult arena and gym lighting, and I bring the equipment and experience to get sharp, vivid images where standard setups struggle. Signature styled shots with fog and team-color lighting turn athletes into the banner-worthy images programs love. And as a sports parent myself, I keep media days moving, keep athletes loose, and know exactly which moments families want on their walls.
